Starlight Farm is truly one of a kind. Each horse is specially trained and sensitive to the needs and limitations of the client. Each client’s experience is different as we ensure each session is tailored specifically to that client. Our dedicated specialists, instructors, and volunteers are committed to providing the best possible learning experience for each of our clients.

Starlight Farm was founded by her mother, Rie Longo in 1999. Rieanne's passion and dedication to the special needs community inspired her to further her education and training in therapeutic horsemanship. At the age of eighteen she received her PATH Intl. Certification for Therapeutic Horseback Riding. Rieanne attended the County College of Morris where she obtained an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice. From there she received a rodeo scholarship to the University of Bacone in Oklahoma where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology.
Rie Longo is the Executive Assistant of Starlight Farm. Rie started Starlight Farm, an Equine-Assisted Activities & Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program, in 1999 and continues to be an integral part of the program. Not only has Rie been a true pioneer in New Jersey Equine Therapy but she has also been Licensed Practical Nurse for over 45 years.

Robin is a Certified Professional Life Coach, Health Coach and National Certified Counselor with over twenty years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. Her work focuses on creating health, happiness, and well-being through self-discovery, personal goal setting, and practices that include mindfulness, gratitude, motion and courage. Robin has a deep love of animals and nature and a great respect for the role they play in the wellness of humans. Which is why she loves to incorporate them into her work. She finds that when engaged in nature and animal-assisted activities, clients make unexpected and powerful discoveries about themselves, their capabilities and their untapped potential that open their eyes to new possibilities and open their hearts to greater self-worth and self-love.
Holly is a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. She started at Starlight Farm back in 2000 as a volunteer and quickly realized that she had found her calling. Holly took classes at Centenary University to receive her certification as a therapeutic riding instructor. She enjoys teaching riding lessons as well as doing equine
